Q. Is there an age limit for the program?

Our program welcomes applicants ranging from 18 to 50 years old. For individuals under 18 years old, parental consent is necessary. Upon receiving your application, we’ll provide further information regarding this requirement. We look forward to receiving your application and assisting you through the process!

Q. Do I need a Visa to apply for this program?

You may need a visa for this program, but you don’t necessarily need to have it when you apply. Whether you need a visa to enter Korea depends on your country of origin, and the visa requirements can vary based on the duration of your stay. Please check the visa requirements for your specific country; typically, you will need a Tourist Visa. If you’re eligible for the K-ETA, please refer to the official website for details. It is the responsibility of all participants to review the requirements for Tourist Visas, K-ETA, and the duration of stay before applying for the program.

Q. What are the specific tasks or duties that I will be doing?

Asia Lab undertakes numerous projects throughout the year. Interns are assigned to projects that are active during their internship period, meaning the projects can differ depending on when they join. In essence, Asia Lab engages in a range of activities based on our ongoing projects, and we strive to match interns with tasks that align with their interests or strengths. While we initiate various projects in the first half of the year; from September to December, our focus shifts to the Awards show. Interns may be involved in tasks such as brainstorming collaboration ideas, creating content, writing reviews or blogs, developing marketing and sales strategies, reaching out to and managing artists from Asia and around the world, and participating in meetings and project evaluations.

Q.  Are airfares and life expenses included in the price?

Accommodation, airfares, and life expenses are not included in the price and are personal expenses. Expenses included for this program are airport pickup service, assistance with accommodation and life in Korea, unlimited Snack bar, Korean Language Class and Asia Lab Workshops.

Q. What does the daily schedule look like?

Usually, interns work from 10:00 to 18:00 with lunchtime from 12:00 to 13:00. Korean Language class and Asia Lab workshops are within working hours. Please note that there may be exceptions for changes in hours for some projects, business travels, meetings, workshops, or experience opportunities from time to time. Gatherings such as sightseeing in Seoul are organized at least twice a month and are mostly held within working hours.
