What is the K-Startup Grand Challenge?
The K-Startup Grand Challenge (KSGC) is a program in South Korea that helps international startups grow and succeed in Asia.
It is supported by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS) and managed by the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development (KISED).
Startups that join the program get:
- Financial support (3.5 million KRW per month for living expenses)
- Free office space in Pangyo Techno Valley
- Help with visas and other administrative tasks
- Mentoring from experts
- Networking opportunities with Korean companies and investors
The program ends with a Demo Day where startups present their ideas to investors and have a chance to win prize money.
Top teams also get a chance to stay longer through a special follow-up acceleration program.
