HYBE America – Sr. Director, Digital
Position Overview
The Sr. Director, Digital will lead digital strategy and content initiatives across HYBE America’s roster of label and management clients. The ideal candidate brings a diverse music background and a deep understanding of digital trends, with a strong focus on K-Pop and pop. This role requires a visionary leader who can drive digital innovation, foster fan engagement, and deliver measurable results in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
[Key Responsibilities]
Content & Digital Strategy
- Develop and oversee execution of content calendars across clients, ensuring seamless day-to-day communications and troubleshooting.
- Implement digital plans and strategies in collaboration with internal teams, artists, agents, brands, and other departments.
- Liaise with label partners and third-party digital agencies to shape and execute artist digital strategies.
- Advise brand partners and talent agencies on posting commitments for brand deals and partnerships, coordinating deliverables among all stakeholders.
CRM & Fan Engagement
- Manage artist email lists and execute email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, pre-release announcements, and fan engagement initiatives.
- Oversee artist website content and updates to ensure timely and relevant information for fans.
Digital Activations & Mini-sites
- Lead the creation and maintenance of artist mini-sites or landing pages for campaigns and releases.
- Oversee the development of interactive digital activations to engage fans and promote new music.
Partner Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners such as TikTok, Meta, Vevo, YouTube, and Twitch.
- Pitch new releases and resurgent records to secure on-platform placements, campaigns, and social support.
- Oversee Vevo Live Performances from pitch through production and delivery.
Operations
- Manage campaign budgets and track expenses for each release.
- Approve vendor invoices and reconcile project finances.
- Handle billbacks and agreements with vendors, HYBE America Finance, and HYBE HQ Labels.
Social Media Marketing
- Develop and execute platform-specific strategies for TikTok, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), Vevo, YouTube, and more.
- Manage all aspects of artist social media accounts, including community management and engagement tracking.
- Utilize social listening and sentiment reporting to monitor conversations and sentiment around artists.
- Stay current with platform trends and updates, sharing insights with label partners and clients.
Paid Media
- Oversee relationships with paid media agencies and manage overall deal structures.
- Plan and execute paid media campaigns across search, display, social, and video channels.
- Manage media budgets, optimize campaigns for performance, and grow audiences.
- Conduct A/B testing to refine ad creatives and targeting strategies.
- Oversee paid media strategy for clients in partnership with label teams.
Creator Campaigns & Social Seeding
- Identify and collaborate with creators and influencers to promote music and engage target audiences.
- Maintain relationships with in-market creators to position clients for key promotions.
- Develop and manage influencer marketing campaigns, including briefing and tracking results.
- Implement social seeding strategies to amplify content reach and drive organic engagement within fandoms.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) across all digital platforms and campaigns.
- Generate regular reports to communicate campaign performance and insights to teams.
- Leverage data to inform strategic decisions and optimize future campaigns.
Sentiment Reporting
- Run sentiment reporting for K-Pop releases to inform strategy and measure fan response.
